Gwyneth Paltrow’s lifestyle can live on in UK store Goop London.
The store closed after suffering £1.4m worth of losses, according to the latest accounts. Mirror.
Paltrow had hoped to open more stores in high streets across the country but as the Notting Hill saga never opened after closing earlier in the pandemic, things went downhill from there.
The actress has dissolved Goop Inc Ltd – the firm that signed the form to handle cash from the UK arm – and struck off the Companies House register.
The company had assets of £1.3 million but owed creditors £2.7 million.
The 50-year-old actress launched her Goop brand in 2008 while living in London with her then-husband Chris Martin, the lead singer of Coldplay. The shop she lived near in west London when the business was launched closed last year. She still signed paperwork for the company under her old married name of Ms. G. Martin. Daily mail.
The company offers a number of questionable and eye-opening products, including its most recent candle, It Smells Like My Orgasm, which was preceded by It Smells Like My Vagina.
The health and wellness empire now sells its products online and in stores in the US, Canada and France.
