The Foo Fighters took to their social media to address their future as a music band without their rocker Taylor Hawkins following his unexpected death last year. Fox News.
The Foo Fighters released a statement on social media in which they admitted that they would never have been the band they are without Taylor and that they will be a different band moving forward without him.
“As we say goodbye to the most difficult and tragic year our band has ever known, we are reminded of how grateful we are for the people we love the most,” the statement read. And cherish them, and for the loved ones who are no more. With us. The Foo Fighters were formed 27 years ago to represent the healing power of music and the continuity of life.”
He added, “And for the past 27 years our fans have created a global community, a dedicated support system that has helped us all get through the darkest times together. Without Taylor, we would never have been what we are today.” The band wouldn’t be what we were. And without Taylor, we know we’re going to be a different band going forward.”
Taylor Hawkins was found dead in his hotel room in Cipriano, Colombia last year before a concert in Bogota.
