Australia beat Pakistan by eight wickets in the second T20I in Hobart to take an unbeaten 2-0 lead in the women’s three-match series.
Batting first, Pakistan scored 96-7 in 20 overs.
On behalf of Pakistan, opener Muniba Ali scored 33 runs off 43 balls with the help of 4 fours. Meanwhile, captain Bisma returned unbeaten by scoring 29 runs off 28 balls with the help of two fours.
For Australia, leg-spinner Alana King took two wickets for 10 in two overs.
In reply, the host team achieved the target in the 13th over at the loss of eight wickets. On behalf of Australia, wicketkeeper batsman Beth Mooney scored 46 runs off 29 balls with the help of six fours and a six.
Pakistani off-spinner Nida Dar took two wickets by conceding 27 runs in four overs.
It should be noted that Australia also won the first T20 of the series by eight wickets.
The home side also whitewashed the three-match ODI series during the ongoing tour of Pakistan.
Pakistan and Australia will now play the third and final T20I of the series at Manuka Oval in Canberra on January 29.
