in America, Amazon Introducing RxPass, an all-new drug subscription service available only to Prime subscribers.
Customers will pay a $5 monthly fee to have approved prescription drugs delivered to their doorstep. The Amazon RxPass subscription program, announced Tuesday, offers generic pharmaceuticals to address more than 80 common medical problems, including High blood pressurehair loss, anxiety, and acid reflux.
The $5 fee is in addition to the current monthly subscription fee for Prime customers and covers the cost of delivery.
Even if customers fill several prescriptions each month, the RxPass fee is fixed and does not increase. Depending on prescription requirements, medications may be dispensed monthly or quarterly. Additionally, allergies, diabetes (without insulin), and anemia are among the conditions covered by the program.
According to Amazon, more than 150 million Americans already take one or more prescription drugs that RxPass offers. On the website for Amazon Pharmacy, you can find a complete list of common drugs that are included in the RxPass membership.
In recent years, Amazon has introduced a number of healthcare services. In November last year, the business switched from its older Amazon Care telehealth program to its more recent Amazon Clinic telehealth service, which was introduced in 2019.
