H&M is demanding a trial with Justin Bieber.
Just two days after Bieber accused the Swedish retailer of using his name and likeness without his “approval,” the company removed all of its apparently unofficial merchandise of the singer.
In a statement issued on E! News, H&M announced its decision to withdraw the merchandise. “H&M has followed appropriate approval procedures,” the statement read. “Out of respect for the collaboration and Justin Bieber, we have removed the apparel from our stores and online.”
On Monday 19 December 2022, peach The bully criticized the clothing company through his Instagram stories. “I didn’t approve. [sic] Bieber wrote. “All without my permission and approval SMH.”

Additionally, Bieber later doubled down on his claims in the comments section of a fan page that shared photos of all of H&M’s merchandise, writing, “When everyone found out I wore any of this Not approved either. [facepalm emoji],” per Page six.
The brand printed Bieber’s images on graphic sweatshirts and tote bags. They also reportedly sold a phone case with the lyrics of his song Ghost.
In response to Justin’s public message, an H&M spokesperson said E! News On the same day he took permission from the singer. “As with all other licensed products and partnerships, H&M followed the appropriate approval process.”
Bieber has yet to address the company’s decision to end the merch.
