John Krasinski returns as Jack Ryan in the Amazon Prime Video action-packed series Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan after a three-year delay.
Season three of the show premiered on the streaming platform on December 21.
Jack Ryan stars as Krasinski, 43, as the title character, a CIA analyst who is removed from his desk job and head of operations in the field.
The third season follows Ryan in Rome as he investigates a secret plan by Russia to revive the Soviet Empire. While searching for answers, he is falsely accused of treason and must go on the run.
The Jack Ryan episodes were written three years ago, and according to the show’s creators, production wrapped long before Russia invaded Ukraine.
Filming of Jack Ryan season three was delayed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. In addition to Krasinski, the series also stars Wendell Pierce as James Greer.
Abbie Cornish, Dina Shehabi, Ali Suleiman, Michael Kelly and John Hognecker also round out the supporting cast.
Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan will wrap up its fourth season, which has wrapped filming. However, its release date has not been announced yet.
