The billionaire then said that his position on the world’s richest list will not be the same in the near future as he will continue to give back to society.
“But I won’t be slowing down anytime soon. I’m still going full speed ahead with the project I started more than two decades ago, which aims to give the majority of my resources back to society. ” he wrote.
“Although I don’t care where I stand on the list of the richest people in the world,” he wrote, “I know that as I get better at giving, I will come down and eventually Will be completely off the list.”
After giving important updates about the Gates Foundation – including cutting childhood mortality in half, helping the world better prepare for future pandemics, helping to truly eradicate polio, and using AI technology to help save mothers and children in underdeveloped countries — he drew. Personal life, per the people.
“With the pandemic, the war in Ukraine and the economic downturn, the past three years have been the most difficult in recent memory,” Gates wrote. “Everyone in the world has suffered a loss during this time – of loved ones, of financial security, or of a way of life.”
After that he talked about his personal life. “Because of my position, I’m immune to many of these difficulties. But I’ve also hit some personal lows in the past few years, including the death of my father and the end of my marriage.”
“Being rich makes my life more comfortable, but not very fulfilling. For that, I need family, friends, and a job where I work on important things. I’m grateful for all three. “
