British media reports say that English cricket legend Andrew Flintoff has been taken to hospital after an accident during the filming of the popular BBC television show “Top Gear”.
The 45-year-old man was treated at the scene, the BBC News website said, adding that his injuries were not life-threatening.
The incident happened on Tuesday at the programme’s test track at Dunsfold Park Aerodrome in south London.
Andrew Flintoff, a popular all-rounder, known as “Freddie”, played 79 Tests for England before retiring from cricket at the age of 32.
He has built a career in television including co-presenting the hit motoring show Top Gear.
According to the BBC and Sky, a BBC spokesman said: “Freddy was injured in an accident at the Top Gear test track this morning (Tuesday), with crew medics immediately attending the scene. was given.”
“He has been taken to hospital for further treatment and we will confirm further details in due course.”
Andrew Flintoff played a major role in England winning the Ashes in 2005 and 2009 during his cricket career.
