Priyanka Chopra is passionate about everything she does, be it acting or activism. She has always been patriotic and passionate towards her country and work respectively. This year, she is among the four Indian women who made it to the BBC’s 100 Most Influential Women list.
The success doesn’t end there, she is the only Indian actress in this list which makes it even more special.
‘After her film debut in 2002, the former Miss World’s breakthrough in Hollywood came when she made history in 2015 as the first South Asian actress to lead the US network drama series Quantico. His Hollywood acting credits include Isn’t It Romantic and The Matrix. Qayamatin has set up his own production company, making films in India. Chopra is also a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, campaigning for children’s rights and girls’ education. The BBC reported.
In the same report, quoting Priyanka, she wrote, ‘There’s something very powerful about the MeToo movement and the collective women’s voices that followed, protecting each other, and standing together – uniting.’
Priyanka was recently spotted in Dubai for the Red Sea Film Festival. She will soon be seen in Farhan Akhtar’s film.
