United States: When pulled over for driving with two tires missing, a Florida man cited “unusual activity” as he continued to drive home.
Andres Orjuella-Montelegri, 29, was pulled over on Interstate 75 at 4 a.m. Oct. 23 after Marion County Sheriff’s officers discovered deflated tires on the driver’s side of the SUV.
According to a news release from the Miami Herald, Deputy Wilson realized that the tires were not only deflated, but that Andres was “driving on what was left of the rim.”

He went through with it, only to get “more and more agitated” and spit on the police. Andres began threatening and kicking them and even tried to take the deputy’s Taser from his holster, according to the sheriff’s office.
The motorcyclist was arrested and charged with two counts of battery on a law enforcement officer, attempting to deprive an officer of protection or means of communication, resisting an officer with violence, and corruption by threatening a public servant. “He now faces up to 25.5 years in prison and is being held on $27,000 bond,” according to the law enforcement agency.
