Kate Middleton, Princess of Wales, is reportedly set to receive another patronage, previously held by the late Queen Elizabeth.
According to a report by Daily mailThe Princess of Wales is to become patron of the Welsh Football Association, days after Prince William was criticized by Welsh actor Michael Sheen for supporting England at the World Cup in Qatar.
A source said, according to the report Express: ‘It is being discussed as part of a wider review of royal patronage.’
Actor Michael Sheen tweeted on Tuesday: “Of course he can support whoever he wants and his role as president of the FA makes the visit understandable — but of course he’s the Prince of Wales at the same time. Do you think it’s totally inappropriate to get a title?”
Kate Middleton also became the patron of the England Rugby Union and Rugby League in February.
