LAHORE: The Lahore High Court rejected the petition of Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Ghulam Mahmood Dogar. Challenging His suspension, saying he had no jurisdiction to hear the case.
At the beginning of the hearing, Justice Muzamil Akhtar Shabbir inquired whether the High Court has the right to look at the order of suspension of sentence.

CCPO to drop charge immediately: Tarar
Soon after the verdict, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister Attaullah Tarar tweeted that the police force is not responsible for following the orders of CCPO Dogar and he should step down immediately.
