The Azerbaijani president was answering questions from the participants on behalf of Khalid Taimur Akram, executive director of the Center for Global and Strategic Studies of Pakistan.
The President said that he discussed with the Prime Minister of Pakistan, the possibility of further intensifying bilateral economic and trade cooperation and Pakistan’s decision on special regulations for rice was a reflection of this.
He said that he has decided to take this step to promote mutual trade between the two countries.

He said that he knows that Pakistan’s Gwadar port is turning into a major international hub.
