Netflix recently came out with its horror mystery series. 1899.
Set in the year 1899, at the very turn of the new century, the series follows a group of European immigrants traveling from London on the steamer Kerberos to start new lives in New York City.
However, the journey takes a dark turn when the travelers cross paths with the Prometheus, another immigrant ship that was reportedly lost at sea. Their journey is turned upside down as the group uncovers the history of Prometheus and how it connects to their past.
The show features a diverse ensemble among its passengers on a mysterious 19th-century sea voyage. Since the cast is filled with well-known names from different countries, they all speak in their native languages.
