The country’s military refused the Allegations of Chairman PTI Imran Khan Regarding the involvement of three persons in the attack on Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and a major of the Pakistan Army and declared the statement baseless.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a statement issued in this regard said, “The baseless and irresponsible allegations made by the PTI chief against the institution and especially against a senior military officer are absolutely unacceptable. But are unacceptable and unnecessary.”
In the statement, the media wing of the army said that the Pakistan Army prides itself on being a highly professional and disciplined organization with a strong and highly effective internal accountability system that is independent of the non-compliance by uniformed personnel. “However, if the honor, safety, and dignity of its rank and file is being tarnished by vested interests, the institution will protect its officers and soldiers.”
It added that “baseless allegations were leveled against the institution/officials today. [by Imran Khan] Very sad and strongly condemned. No one will be allowed to disrespect the institution or its soldiers.
“In view of this, the Government of Pakistan is requested to investigate the matter and take legal action against those responsible for defamation and false allegations against the institution and its officials without any evidence,” the statement added. Let the action begin.”
In a televised address from the hospital, Khan maintained that he had already known about the threat and had been informed that he was planned to be killed “somewhere between Wazirabad and Gujarat”.
Khan asserted, “Three people – including Rana Sanaullah, Shahbaz Sharif, and an army major – planned to kill me when they saw that the number of people on my long march was rapidly increasing. growing.”
He also urged his followers and party members to continue protesting against the said persons.
“Continue your protest against these three persons until they resign from their posts,” Khan said.
