To resolve issues with foreign nations, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said on Thursday that “peaceful conversation” is preferable, a clear allusion to India.
During his speech to the sixth summit of the Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia (CICA), the prime minister stated, “Pakistan seeks peaceful relations with India.”
In addition to discussing the atrocities done by India in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, he put the onus on India to take the required steps in an effort to develop result-oriented solutions (IIOJK).
The prime minister went on to remark that Kashmiris are still being denied their right to self-determination and that other nations should take note of India’s “bullet over ballot” approach.
The president of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spoke on the need of maintaining and bolstering stability and security on the largest continent.
Neither side of the border can afford to deal with the tremendous difficulties of poverty and unemployment while having only limited resources, thus we are willing to interact with India for the sake of wealth and growth.
During his speech, PM Shehbaz stressed the need to reinvest in areas like healthcare and classroom instruction.
The future generations of our region deserve a peaceful and prosperous legacy, he remarked. To restore a fast and fair economy is Pakistan’s top objective right now.
