Lady Health Workers Deployed to Perform Security Duties Along with Lady Police at Polling Stations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa During the by-elections
According to the statement issued by the Regional Police Officer (RPO) Mardan Muhammad Ali Khan, lady health workers will perform duty in the polling stations during the by-elections in the province.
About 400 lady health workers will perform duties in the polling stations of NA-22 Mardan and NA-24 Charsadda. Security Duties with policemen,” he said.
The RPO further said that foolproof security measures have been taken to ensure the peaceful conduct of the by-elections.
“The police have completed all security arrangements for the by-elections in Charsadda and Mardan,” he added.
Meanwhile, the PDM urged the Election Commission (EC) to take notice of the deployment of lady health workers at polling stations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the by-elections.
Talking to Geo NewsPDM Provincial Spokesperson Abdul Jalil Jan said that the deployment of lady health workers in the polling stations. They wanted to use every strategy to win the by-election.
“But we will not allow any move against the constitution and the law,” he said.
