World-renowned Indian composer, singer, and lyricist AR Rahman also spoke on the remix culture of songs, describing the process as distorting things and making them weird.
India’s world-renowned musician and singer AR Rahman says that it is highly undesirable for me to compose a song and then you compose something which has been made recently.
He said that who are they who re-distort the shape of work and give it a new concept?
Recently, popular singer Falgini Pathak reacted strongly to Neha Kakkar’s remix of her 1999 song Main Payal Hai Chinkai saying that the remix of the song has distorted the original song.
Regarding this, AR Rahman further said that I do not like remix culture at all and I myself am very careful about using someone else’s work.
These days AR Rahman is composing songs for famous filmmaker Mira Ratnam’s new films.
