Queen Elizabeth’s children, Prince Charles III, Prince William, Prince Harry, Princess Anne, Prince Andrew, and Prince Edward, are all accompanying their mother’s coffin as it is transported from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Hall.
In front of the casket, the procession now includes members of the late queen’s staff.
Due to their status as non-working royals, Princes Andrew and Harry were required to wear morning dresses instead of military uniforms. Prince Edward donned a military uniform, while King Charles III, Prince William, and Princess Anne wore street clothes.
There will be a four-day viewing period in Westminster Hall before the actual funeral, therefore the casket of the Queen will be moved there.
All venues are sold out and no more people will be admitted, according to the organizers. Please visit the Hyde Park screening location to view the parade for the Lying-in-State on massive screens if you are in the area. As a result of the potentially ten-mile-long lines, 350,000 people in the state could not be able to see the queen’s funeral.
There will likely be a long line of mourners, with TfL commissioner Andy Byford estimating that 750,000 people will want to pay their respects.
