With the Azlan Shah Hockey Tournament Camp set to open tomorrow in Karachi, the Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has claimed to have paid all outstanding player fees.
The PHF stated that more than 1.5 crores (including player salaries) had been deposited into the coffers of the Azlan Shah Hockey Federation before the competition.
We have our pride, as stated by PHF President Khalid Sajjad Khokhar, and the players are the heroes of the country.
PHF Haider Hussain, the new secretary, said that paying the players’ salaries was his priority and assured them that they will be reimbursed before the start of training camp.
