Rawalpindi: Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa appealed for help to the flood victims, saying that the floods have come on a large scale, there has been a lot of destruction, it will take many years to restore the flood victims.

He said that while the federal and provincial governments are trying to provide relief to the people, the Pakistan Army, Navy, Air Force and welfare organizations are also making efforts for rehabilitation.
The army chief said that the floods have come on a large scale, there has been a lot of devastation, it will take many years to restore the flood victims, philanthropists should help the flood victims in difficult situations.
