The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) said that the price of LPG will go down by 13 rupees per kilogram.
The price of a household LPG cylinder has been lowered by Rs 155 as per today’s announcement. The revised rates, which include the sale of a commercial cylinder for Rs. 9,931.65, make it available for sale for Rs. 2,581.35.
Irfan Khokhar, Chairman of the LPG Distributors’ Association Pakistan, stated that LPG costs are now 45 percent less expensive than gasoline and diesel.
Government intervention in this area, he said, could cut the price of LPG by 60% to 66%.
