The Prime Minister’s Laptop Program would be brought to public schools, according to the federal government.
Laptops will be given to high-achieving students in matric under the program. In this situation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has told the right people to make arrangements as soon as possible.
The government wants to make the free laptop program a permanent part of its plan to help students become more competitive and solve problems in both domestic and international markets.
In a recent meeting with Vice-Chancellors of public schools, Federal Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal asked them for their ideas on how to help students learn more.
Ex-PM Nawaz Sharif started the Prime Minister’s Laptop Scheme in May of that year. At first, the program gave free laptops to students at public and quasi-public colleges and universities.
Later, the program was extended to include intermediate pupils. So far, four phases of the plan have been accomplished. Detachable laptops with free internet access made the second phase popular among students.
