The provincial administration has allegedly set summer holidays in Punjab. According to a local TV program, authorities in the province have set a two-month summer holiday plan for schools and institutions.
Schools in the region will be closed from June 1 to July 31. Then, beginning August 1, all educational activities in the area will be back in session.
Eid-ul-Fitr was declared a public holiday in Pakistan this year. However, schools were expected to reopen on Friday despite the government’s announcement (May 6).
However, most academic institutions have extended their vacations till Sunday (May 8). As a result, students in Punjab and elsewhere in Pakistan will be able to return to school today as scheduled (Monday).
