KARACHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board’s ongoing updating of pitches at 40 stadiums around the nation has delayed progress on 13 pitches at Karachi’s National Stadium.

Karachi has been ruled out of hosting a prospective additional one-day international series between Pakistan and the West Indies due to the inability of these pitches to be prepared in time. In June, there will be three one-day internationals between Pakistan and India in Rawalpindi. Still, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is exploring a different location owing to the current political situation.
