New Changan Karvaan MPV Plus Gets an Interior Upgrade

Master Changan Motors Limited (MCML) has been one of the market’s most dominating new companies. All three of its cars, the Karvaan, the Oshan X7, and the Alsvin, have been popular in their respective categories.

Karvaan, in particular, has emerged as the company’s best-selling vehicle, commanding a substantial market share in the compact passenger van class. The business has chosen to capitalize on its success by upgrading the Karvaan Plus’s interior.

The interior includes new beige-gold seats with 66% more padding, four layers of spring, and 16 spring retainers, according to the specs.

The van is powered by a 1.0 liter naturally aspirated 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 68 horsepower and 92 newton-meters of torque and sends power to the rear wheels via a 5-speed manual gearbox.

Brakes are provided by a solid disc arrangement up front and a conventional drum brake configuration in the back. The suspension is made up of Mcpherson struts in the front and a torsion bar leaf spring system in the back.

The improved Karvaan Plus costs Rs. 2.999,000. While the Karvaan is more than Rs. 1 million more expensive than the Suzuki Bolan, it is also a far better vehicle. However, the purchasing decision ultimately comes down to personal preference.
