For players who just wanted the new mods from the get-go, this is a $10 price increase over the base game. The Firefly Edition will retail for $99.99 and offer more benefits than the Digital Deluxe Edition, but both unlock the Speedrun Mode early.

Speeding up a stealth-based game like Our End: Part I It can be quite challenging especially for new players. It is recommended that players get a feel for the new controls and new features before trying out the game’s full blown Speedrun. on your first play Our End: Part IMany new players will not realize that running is almost always an option. In many areas there is a starting point that must be reached before moving forward.
Killing every enemy in a given area is always an option and guarantees free domination of the terrain when searching for items, collectibles and ammo, but is not strictly necessary.
Aim practice and timing shots are also very important when running is impossible. Most of the enemies in the game move slowly without noticing the player and the player will then start running and hiding. Learning to aim at these enemies in different situations will help a Speedrunner progress through the levels quickly. Typical stealth tactics can only slow the player down.
The rest of the skills needed to succeed in Speedrun mode will most likely come from studying the new mechanics. Our End: Episode I and memorizing routes. Some moments will require certainty about when to jump, when to run, and where to hide. However, after a few games, players can start to create their own routes in Speedrun Mode.
