Tactical Ogre Reborn There are over three dozen unique characters to recruit. Many are important story characters that players will grow up to be. Others are called generics that have a few unique lines or a custom sprite as their default class.
While all recruited characters have a starter class, players are free to change them at any time. However, all characters are initially trained to do a little better in their freshman year. Also, many story characters do not change their animated character; holy Father Donnalto will always dress as a Priest, even if he is a fierce Berserker or a sneaky Ninja.
All Route Characters
At the end of Chapter 1, players will have to make an important choice in their lives. Tactical Ogre Reborn the game. This will determine whether they are on the Legal or Chaotic route for the next chapter. If one chooses Chaotic, they will have a second option to switch to Neutral for the third part. All routes have a similar Chapter 4, although there will be minor changes throughout.
- Canopus (Vartan): Automatically offers to join after training. If it is rejected, it will disappear from the story completely.
- Donnalto (Priest), Votare (Knight) and Sara (Archer): Go to Krysaro in Episode 1 and help protect the town from all undead enemies. The three of them will then offer to participate.
- Felicia (Priest): Similar to the recruiting above, but deliberately allow Donnalto to die during the encounter in the city of Krysaro.
- Mirdyn (White Knight): He always attends when he first comes to Almorica Castle Tactical Ogre story paths. This happens fastest in Neutral and towards the next half of Law and Chaos.
- Olivia (Priest): He always participates in the first match of Episode 4. However, Denam’s temperament will change depending on how he progresses through Brigantys Hold. To make this peaceful, remove all of Denam’s equipment and deploy only him at the front entrance of the castle. All other options will lead to a hostile war, but Olivia will still participate.
- Sheri (Witch): In Episode 4, Sherri will be the boss in Aya Banhamuba. Intentionally bring him to a critical health state without killing him and he will teleport away. Go to a random battle on Xeod Moors. Use the Wild Horn item until it starts to rain heavily. Go to Balmamusa in stormy weather. If Olivia is still alive, Tactical Ogre The cutscene will take place where Sherri joins the team.
- Catiua (Princess): After rescuing Mreuva, he will ask if Denam is willing to kill Catiua. If the players approve, Barnicia will be in the battle of the Grand Staircase, or if the players refuse, he will flee instead. In the next cutscene, the response “You’re my sister and I love you” if they fight or “I didn’t enjoy our breakup” if they ran away.
- Deneb (Witch or Wicce): Read the Warren Report “Deneb’s Store” During Episode 4. Go to his Store and auction five dragons of each elemental type (30 in total), and then purchase the next Elemental Orbs. Will join stronger Tactical Ogre Wicce class if the player sells 30 Glass Pumpkins from the Palace of the Dead before recruiting him.
- Rudlum (Wizard): Explore the second floor of the Palace of the Dead super dungeon by preparing the Warren Report “Mysterious Explosion on the Exterior”. Rudlum will be a friendly NPC on the map, despite being surrounded by many enemies. It’s best to attack enemies with fast units like Ninjas to protect Rudlum. If he lives, he will offer to participate.
- Lindl (Armed): He will try using a weapon for the first time during the battle of Barnicia Castle against Barbas; but finding him too powerful, he will hand him over to a generic Templar. Kill this Templar and be sure to pocket the Rim Fire weapon. Then read the Warren Report “Rhamsen Shipwreck Printed” and go to Grimsby. Lindl will be friendly Tactical Ogre NPC on the battlefield and will join if he survives.
- Ganpp (Monster Tamer): After rescuing Lindl, continue to Neimrahava Forest. Ganpp will attack with his pets Berda Jr and Obda Jr; along with other generic beasts. Make sure you don’t kill the pets mentioned, but still restore Ganpp to critical health without killing them. If done correctly, he will surrender and join the team.
- Azelstan (Pirate): Read the Warren Report “Port Omish, Thieves’ Lair”. Go to Omish and protect Azelstan until he chooses to escape. next reading “Pirate Cemetery” and enter the dungeon at least once. Read now after beating/running for the first time “Terrible Pirate”, again to Omish, then to Fort Qadriga and finally to Omish a third time for another encounter. Beat the entire Pirate’s Graveyard optional dungeon and Azelstan will eventually join.
Legal Route Characters
- Xapan (Wild): Rescue him in the battle at Qadriga Fortress and he will offer to participate. Alternatively reject it there and much later Tactical Ogre Chapter 4 Go to Goliath to fight Xapan. Put him in a critical state of health and he will join in with even better equipment.
- Jeunan (Dragon): After the battle at Brigantys, to the question of the prisoners, “How can they be?”
- Wildness (Valkyrie): At the end of Chapter 1, Ravness will become the enemy and attack Denam. Refuse to attack him and let him achieve the main goal. Later, during Statutory Part 2, “Caught Ravness” Warren Report. Go to Reisan Way and rescue Ravness immediately; Note that if Brigantys is switched as part of the story, the war will end and Ravness will be lost. He will run no matter what, but he will go to Bahana and offer to join.
- Ocionne (Monster Tamer): Go to the Palace of the Dead side quest with Jeunan at the party. Chase the necromancer Reymos to Lhazan Fortress and rescue Ocionne. Note that this encounter can take place in Chaos and Neutral. Tactical Ogre The routes cannot be persuaded to join Ocionne, however without Jeunan.
- Vyce (Archer), Arycelle (Archer), Gildas (White Knight): When they return to Almorica Castle in the middle of Episode 3, they will all offer to participate. Arycelle will have only moderate loyalty, and players can choose to leave if they make future story decisions that go against her ideas of justice.
- Hobyrim (Swordsman) and Ozma (Knight Commander): In Episode 3, the two will be found fighting each other in Rhime City. Extend the battle long enough for Ozma to find out the Hobyrim’s identity so they can finish their long conversation. Then read the Warren Report in Chapter 4. “A Rift in the Dark Knights”. Go to Krysaro and deploy Hobyrim to fight Ozma again. Wound him without killing him and he’ll join the team.
Chaotic Route Characters
- Arycell (Archer): will be the first boss Tactical Ogre Chaos Chapter 2. If you injure him, he will come as an NPC. In all subsequent encounters, make sure he survives as his premature death will be permanent. Arycelle will join after facing Vyce at Tynemouth Hill.
- Folcurt (Knight), Byin (Wizard) and Cistina (Valkyrie): Rescue Cistina at the battle of Rhime in Episode 1. Later, in Episode 2, Folcurt will automatically join but will ask him to free his ally Bayin. If rescued, the duo will also offer to help Cistina at Fort Ndamsa.
- Gildas (White Knight): He joins Mirdyn on this route.
- Cerya (Valkyrie): Go to Boed Fort and defeat Oz. Cerya will join in the next cutscene.
- Hobyrim (Swordsman): Rescue him during the Chapter 3 story battle in Bahana.
- Cressida (Necromancer): Chapter 4 Read the Warren Report “Balmamusa Dead”. Go to that town and save Oelias. Next, defeat Dievold at Qadriga. Players will now need to get maximum reputation by making multiple choices in Galgastani. Tactical Ogre this is in their favour. If done right, go to Goliath, defeat Nybeth and Cressida can offer to join.
Neutral Route Characters
- Oelias (Priest) and Dievold (Knight of Terror): Rescue them both in Asyton in Episode 3. At least Dievold must live, or Oelias will refuse to fight anymore.
- Hobyrim (Swordsman), Chamos (Wizard), Phaesta (Valkyrie), and Tamuz (Knight): After finding Leonar in Krysaro, follow Phaesta to Qadriga. Rescue three troops to recruit them; Hobyrim will appear even if others die.
- Cerya (Valkyrie) and Ehlrig (Priest): Rescue Cerya from Oz in the first fight of Episode 3. He will run, but read the Warren Report in Chapter 4. “Pirates in Qadriga”. Go there and ask, “Are you going to help us?” to hire both.
