Warning: Pokémon: Aim to Master, Spoiler for episode 9Team Rocket Pokémon They had many internal conflicts before and even broke up temporarily, but the trio always reunited. With only two episodes left in the series, could this fight be the last of the trio?
in chapter 9 Aim to Become a MasterTeam Rocket is surprisingly reunited with most of its previous Pokémon and is ordered to use the full power of every Pokémon at its disposal to capture Pikachu. Team Rocket actually comes up with a pretty good plan, but is ultimately thwarted by Latias, who has been following Ash throughout the miniseries. Frustrated and injured by the explosion once again, the trio blame each other for the plan’s failure, despite the fact that it’s almost entirely caused by an unforeseen variable. Meowth raises her claws and starts walking, and Jessie and James do the same, each rushing in their own direction as their assembled Pokémon stare in horror.
The End of the Pokémon Team Rocket Trio?
Team Rocket wasn’t specifically featured in episode 10 previews, suggesting that this split won’t be resolved in the next episode. There is of course still a chance (or even a high probability) for the trio to appear in the 11th and final episode, but with the series coming to an end, there are far more possibilities than usual on the table. Jessie, James and Meowth seem almost certain to make up, but that doesn’t mean they’ll be reunited as Team Rocket.
Many fans would love to see Jessie and James’ romantic marriage end, just like they did in the movie. Pikachu’s Electric Stories manga decades ago. If Team Rocket organization doesn’t get in the way, there’s a solid chance the trio will get back together – but not as Team Rocket, but as a family. It’s also possible that they were included in the plot of the last two episodes, which seem to revolve around releasing Latias’ partner, Latios. It’s unclear who the villains are currently holding Latios, but if it’s a more dangerous arm of Team Rocket, that could put Jessie and James in a difficult position. After all, Jessie and James have been stubbornly opposed to the great Team Rocket organization before, so it’s not inconceivable that they could do it again, even if it meant helping Ash. Seeing Ash, Jessie and James work together in the final episodes and finally acknowledging the sometimes uncomfortable bond they’ve developed over the years would be a great way to end the series.
no matter what fate PokémonThe Team Rocket trio are probably safe to say they haven’t been seen for the last time.
