Fans have hope Just me Hero Academy can finally do justice Dark DekuAfter Midoriya, his earlier misrepresentation almost takes a darker form in the final episode.
Undoubtedly one of the biggest developments My Hero Academy, It was when Midoriya became Dark Deku. It’s rare to see an innocent, bright-eyed hero in Shonen suddenly adopt negative qualities, let alone adopt a dark exterior. That’s what made Dark Deku so innovative in the beginning, especially for a series like this My Hero Academy. As Dark Deku, Midoriya not only completely ignored and cast aside her teacher and personal hero, All Might, but also caused people to both question whether he was a Nomu and act surprised when they realized he was there to help them. But then My Hero Academy Allowing Deku to easily bounce back into the light, fix things with All Might, and continue as if nothing had happened, he threw all that progress aside and made everything he’s been through a complete waste of time.
But in chapter 367 My Hero Academy Midoriya undergoes a physical transformation by mangaka Kohei Horikoshi. At first, Tomura begins to take on a more sinister form after seeing how much Shigaraki hurt and possibly even killed some of his friends. Her changing appearance is so disturbing that Midoriya’s friend Lemillion feels compelled to discourage whatever happened to her. When Midoriya manages to control her heart, she takes on a much less sinister-looking form. Duration My Hero Academy Rescuing Deku from the darkness was a mistake, a mistake that could be fixed.
My Hero Academy She Must Let The Deku Embrace The Darkness Within
Of course, there’s no guarantee that Midoriya’s temporary shift into darkness had anything to do with her experiences as Dark Deku, especially since Dark Deku didn’t cause her to fully transform. Dark Deku was a combination of the weight of the costume epsilon, which was subjected to severe wear and tear over a long period of time, and the mood-destroying emotion as if he were the only one who could defeat All for One. But what is clear is that seeing his friends in such a bad state triggered his transformation, and this feeling is the opposite of what he felt as Dark Deku.
When Midoriya became the Dark Deku, she wanted to distance herself back then and is now angry that she broke up with them. To be absolutely sure if he’s almost a Dark Deku, Midoriya will need to meet the same conditions, such as isolating himself from his friends on both a mental and physical level. However, it’s heartbreaking for Midoriya to feel anything negative, especially since it almost causes her to change physically. This gives hope to readers My Hero Academy may revisit this dark time for Midoriya with more than a few panels as in this final episode.
However, the fact that Midoriya once again becomes Dark Deku doesn’t magically fix the damage from him, he immediately jumps from the brink of darkness and originally resolves the tension between him and All Might. It almost feels like a completely different scenario My Hero Academy Horikoshi seems to be trying to make up for Edgeshot’s self-sacrifice for Bakugo instead of Best Jeanist by suddenly getting Best Jeanist involved in Edgeshot’s plot in a later episode. Regardless, it would be refreshing to see Dark Deku again in My Hero Academy.
