So, after a small fight, which is mostly implied, Goku and Uub leave the training ground and Uub leaves rather vaguely and is not seen again for many episodes.
Buu’s Redemption Through Uub Completely Overshadowed in Dragon Ball GT
Uub’s introduction and training with Goku was a huge chasm in the end. Dragon Ball Z. Right after Uub leaves, Emperor Rice uses the Black Star Dragon Balls to turn Goku into a boy, and then Goku is forced to go on a mission to collect orbs scattered across the universe, or the Earth will explode. Based on all the shocking elements of this episode, the payoff from seeing Goku and the Uub train is the least impressive and ends almost as soon as it starts.
