In the world of immensely popular anime My Hero Academymain protagonist Izuku Midoriya aka deku He’s a mighty hero in training, with more than a few scraps over the series’ six seasons and with some of his toughest fights yet to come.
And while Deku fights beside you My hero With wonders like All Might, Endeavor, Bakugo, Todoroki, and more to overcome seemingly impossible odds (the last joint effort against Shigaraki, the highlight of his many teams), the battles he had to go alone, eventually turned into some. the hardest fights of his entire life and the fights that still affect him deeply to this day.
10 Ser Night Eye
More of a training fight than a full-blown battle, this scuffle tasked Deku to undo the stigma that Nighteye would use to make his work with the hero a reality. Using Full Cowling to jump around the room at high speeds to defeat Nighteye’s Quirk of Foresight, Deku tries everything he can to reach his goal within three minutes – a feat that ultimately fails despite Deku’s creative distraction scheme. Regardless, this quick but hard battle helped Deku master one of his favorite techniques in One For All: Full Cowling.
9 Gran Torino
Also a test fight that helps Deku master the intricacies of his evolving Full Cowling technique, Gran Torino tasks Midoriya with a single One For All hit before the three minutes are up. Midoriya, who taught Deku to find better ways to control his power and to do it on a faster timeline, came very close to Gran Torino the second time around, but failed both times.
8 Himiko Toga
This fight, which takes place during the Provisional Hero License Exam, reveals that a disguised Himiko Toga uses his Quirk to transform into another student, Camie Utsushimi, and Ochaco Uraraka, to drive off Deku and gain more intelligence about a hero in training. he saw. eventually there would be a thorn in his side. A fight where Deku’s disadvantage is short because he believes Himiko are his two colleagues, trying to save those he cares about even when he is ambushed by Ketsubutsu students and simultaneously tricked by a fake Ochaco suggests that Deku may not always be. she is sane about him, but her heart is always in the right place.
7 Hitoshi Shinso
Encountering Hitoshi while fighting in the Sports Festival Fighting Tournament, this battle is one that Deku will lose almost as soon as he is torn, thanks to the Brainwashing Oddity that allows Hitoshi to force the Humans to follow his orders after they respond to anything he says. Using the power of Full Cowling on his fingers (thanks to the help of One For All’s still-unknown ancestors), the ensuing fight isn’t quite a contest, as he is able to recover from Hitoshi’s influence by shocking himself. Deku attacks Hitoshi with all his might to secure a decisive victory. This fight marked Deku’s journey to understand who the former users of One For All were and how these would affect him and his growing powers, making it an important, if not relatively easy, battle.
6 bakugo
Wanting to learn the truth behind Deku’s power and his relationship with All Might, Bakugo offers Midoriya a much-needed lousy therapy session not only as a power struggle, but also as emotion, stress relief, and more importantly, a sort of between the two. Throwing punches, kicks, and everything else at each other in a way they had never done before, Deku might eventually lose this battle, but it was still an inseparable but painful stepping stone for the two rivals and friends. .to this day they still learn to respect each other.
5 Shoto Todoroki
In this fight, another fight in the Sports Festival Tournament, Deku literally broke half of his body to knock Shoto down, and Todoroki did his best to unleash both his ice and flame powers to great effect on his opponent. A fight in which UA teachers stepped in to mitigate the destruction and danger brought by the fight, Deku falling for Todoroki and his incredible strength was disappointing for the budding hero, but still taught him that his absolute limits were far higher than they were. He thought they were, and that their abilities could stack up to someone who was probably one of the hardest to beat characters of all, while still learning to fine-tune them. My hero lore.
4 Eyebrow
More of a brute-force fight than anything else, Deku’s take on Muscular came early in the series when Midoriya wasn’t even close to mastering her unique abilities. Using his Oddity to increase his strength and speed with muscle fibers growing in his body like striped weeds, Muscular enlists Deku throughout nearly the entire battle, until Deku is helped by the boy he’s been trying to protect. Fight Quota. Taking advantage of this small opening, Deku uses the 1,000,000% Delaware Detroit Smash to defeat Muscular once and for all. And while their final rematch wasn’t nearly as tough as a battle, Deku had to use more than a few Quirks to take down Muscular a second time.
3 Gentle Criminal
While we openly admit that this is one of the toughest fights he’s ever entered, this is a different kind of fight that cannot be won, for once, with Deku’s immense strength alone. Gentle’s need to counteract the annoying Resilience Bizarre, subjugating the problem was absolutely out of the question, since Deku not only had to use his brain to strategically attack Gentle where needed, but he had also been effectively empowered by Gentle’s sidekick, La Brava. after it is given. One For All-related air projectiles that Deku launched and a well-placed St. Louis Smash.
2 Lady Nagant
Forcing Deku to change his tactics and use several combinations of abilities bestowed upon him by former One For All users (including Spider-Sense-like Sense of Danger, Black Whip, and new Smoke Screen and Fa Jin abilities), this fight was not. It wasn’t a super-complex battle, but it was still a battle that caused Deku to use his brain. And his power to win. Needing to avoid Lady Nagant’s sniper fire and her ability to curl her bullets and walk through the air, Deku had to think before she acted, which confused and distracted Lady Nagant so much that Midoriya was finally able to end the battle with an overpowered man. Fake 100 Percent: Manchester Smash.
one revision
An epic fight that fans still talk about today, Deku vs. Revision aka Kai Chisaki was a fight that culminated over and over again, not only as a visual spectacle, but also as the toughest battle in which Deku’s loneliness was a part of. Able to recombine matter at will, Chisaki uses this Oddity to create a powerful effect during this conflict, borrowing some of Eri’s power from Deku, elevating her to ultimate status, and giving the giant beast-like Revision a certainty that wouldn’t happen without Eri’s. gives a loss. Considering that helper Deku has found a way to win (or outright lose) all his other solo battles with his will and skill, Eri’s need for support makes this a tough battle that pushes Deku to his absolute limits.
With My hero The anime is still on and Deku’s epic battle against Class 1-A is fast approaching, it’s only a matter of time before another tough fight makes it to this list. If fans don’t want to wait for the anime, they can always My Hero Academy Manga still being released deku in more dire situations than those encountered here!
