One such soul is depicted in the ‘Multiverse of Manjulika’ as being imprisoned in a “haveli” in Bhawanigarh (Rajasthan), only to be released years later by someone from her family. It’s a good question. Today, Reet (Kiara Advani) returns to her family after completing her higher education and is forced to marry someone who her sister likes. This is merely the beginning of the maze that is going to grow.
For the sake of her sister’s happiness, Reet drags Ruhan (Kartik Aaryan) along and begs him to put together a wedding circus for her sister. ‘Ruh Baba’ Ruhan takes on the role of Reet’s ‘last wish’, urging everyone else to do the same. Ruh baba’s ‘bhool bhulaiyaa’ has been completed, bringing back Manjulika from the dead.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2: Direction, Music
Director Anees Bazmee has pulled off the impossible thing of creating a sequel that is a bit as enjoyable as the original. It was promised to be a horror film, and it delivers on that promise, with only a few missed opportunities. Even though it serves a purpose, it keeps you entertained.
Hare Ram is remixed to the nth degree by Sandeep Shirodkar. Hare Krishna’s original music and I’m not even going to complain about it. Tushar Joshi’s ‘Ami Je Tomar’ is pure eargasm and fits the mood perfectly. They don’t work with the rest of the songs.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2: Script Analysis
Even though the whole cast has been replaced, Akash Kaushik has managed to retain the tale and script very close to the original. Priyadarshan’s dismal direction improved the original, even if Madhu Muttam’s storyline was emotionally compelling. When it comes to horror, this one relies heavily on its sense of humor and takes a safe approach.
Even though it uses the standard sleepy cliches like “pulling your legs when asleep” and “backward feet,” it cleverly balances them out with bizarre jokes and one-liners. Although the film is littered with senseless humor, they succeed here because of the strangeness of its characters. Manu Anand’s portrayal of horror moments is all murky, yet it works for him in some ways.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2: Star Performance
Oh my god, Kartik Aaryan is incredible! He manages to erase the memory of Akshay Kumar’s great performance and begin over on a tightrope. Adi’s influence may be seen even though Ruhan is an entirely different person. It’s nothing to do with the quality of his touch on the character, but rather how he thrives under the strain of comparison, providing sheer amusement.
Using Tabu’s well-known “grace multiplied by 100” technique, the tale cleverly mimics Vidya Balan’s original film’s magic. Even while we all know that the OG is unbeatable, it is unreasonable to discount the sincere efforts put in at the storyboard.
The worst of the bunch is still Kiara Advani, not because of her performance but more because her character doesn’t enable her to do much exploring. Even when she gets her due portion of ‘Manjulika,’ it’s too little, too late for her now.
With some gut-busting jokes, Rajpal Yadav and Sanjay Mishra keep the film’s pulse racing. What makes this movie so enjoyable is not just Farhad Samji and Aakash Kaushik delivering their lines, but the story behind those jokes, as well as their acting. Somewhere in the middle of good and bad is the relationship between Rajesh Sharma and Amar Upadhyay.
