Could Dinosaurs Be Big Box Office Outside of the Jurassic World?
Monster movies can definitely do well at the box office, as everything proves king kong with Godzilla with Pacific Rim. But movies featuring iconic movie monsters or kaiju inspired by these classic movie monsters are a different genre than movies featuring real dinosaurs. The discussion can indeed be made outside of Spielberg, who brings a sense of fear as well as genuine curiosity to people. But if a studio is willing to bet on the project, it should have the potential to make money at the box office.
