Revenge of the Savage Planet is a third-person action-adventure game released on May 8, 2025. As Journey to the Savage Planet’s sequel, it continues the universe by delivering more humor, greater exploration, and enhanced co-op gameplay.

Players put themselves in the shoes of an ex-employee of Alta Interglobal, who is charged with exploring alien planets and finding the truth behind their betrayal. Soon after crash-landing on Stellaris Prime, they realise all their gear and equipment are gone.

Farming resources are necessary for rebuilding gear, enhancing tools, and advancing through the game. However, the game provides little advice on how to do this efficiently.

Here’s a simple method the players found to farm for resources such as Carbon, Alien Goo, and Aluminum.

How to Farm Wildlife-Based Resources

  • Interact with an unlocked teleporter to open up the screen for the selection of planets.
  • Press the following buttons to activate it:
    • F on PC
    • X on Xbox
    • Square on PlayStation
  • Select the teleporter and travel to a desired farming area.
  • Go to a wildlife-rich zone.
  • Start collecting resources by defeating creatures.
  • Collect drops like Carbon, Alien Goo, and Aluminum.
  • Return to your base or another area using the teleporter.
  • Re-enter the same zone (enemies and their resources will respawn).
  • Repeat the loop as many times as needed for efficient farming.

What This Method Does Not Work For

  • This farming method does not work for mineral-based resources, such as:
    • Silicon rocks
    • Metal veins
  • These do not come back after being gotten.

Why Farming Resources are important

  • Helps to rebuild lost equipment after landing.
  • Gives materials to upgrade weapons and tools.
  • Facilitates quicker and smoother game progression.
  • Makes it easier to handle challenging alien environments.
