The prequel series takes place about 200 years before the events of the main series. This TV show will be the first to address the history of House Targaryen. The total number of episodes for House of the Dragon is 10. On August 21st, 2022, HBO will premiere the first episode. The program will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar in India on August 22, 2022, and SKY in the UK on August 22, 2022.
