The much-anticipated web series “Honey Trap Squad” featuring Sharad Malhotra and Agam Dixit, has finally premiered. The series made its debut on Wednesday, July 20, 2023, and is now available for streaming on the digital platform Alt Balaji.
Sharad Malhotra, known for his versatile acting skills, has taken on four distinct roles in this series. He plays a dabbawala, a Sardar, a eunuch, and one other undisclosed character. Malhotra shared his unique experience of filming as a eunuch at a real traffic signal, which allowed him to delve deeper into his character’s persona and deliver a more authentic performance.
In addition to Malhotra, the series also marks the web debut of Agam Dixit, the younger brother of actress Aparna Dixit. Agam portrays the role of Junaid, the younger sibling of a major mafia figure based in Dubai. Having recently completed his studies in London, Junaid returns home to his brother in the series.
Malhotra spoke about the challenges and excitement of stepping out of his comfort zone to play these unusual characters. He emphasized the extensive research required to understand their body language, voice modulation, and unique perspectives. He also mentioned how immersing himself in each character, whether it was a eunuch or a Sardar, helped him grasp even the smallest aspects of their essence.
