Godfather, one of the much anticipated films starring Tollywood megastar Chiranjeevi, released on Dussehra. The film was directed by Mohan Raja, known for hits like Something Something…, Anakkam Anakkam and Santosh Subramaniam.

Godfather Telugu Movie OTT Rights
Since Chiranjeevi and Salman are acting together, the film has high expectations. It is produced by Ram Charan and RB Chaudhary under the banner of Konidela Production Company and Super Good Films.
It was released theatrically on 5 October 2022 in conjunction with the Telugu and Hindi dubbed versions for the celebration of Vijaya Dashmi or Dussehra. In terms of post-theatrical streaming rights, the film is highly coveted by the OTT goliaths.
In fact, Netflix, a leading streaming service, bought its digital rights. It is known that the platform has paid a staggering Rs. 57 crores to buy the rights. The OTT rights of the film in Telugu and Hindi are included in the deal.

The film garnered attention even before its release as it was the first time two superstars from Bollywood and Tollywood worked together, and Salman Khan’s participation gave it an extra push among North Indian audiences.
