Dow University Revises Fee Structure

Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) raised its fees for BS and professional degrees, according to a report on Monday. The DUHS Finance and Planning Committee suggested the fee structure change during its 27th and 28th sessions on May 13 and June 17, respectively.

According to the reports, the committee’s recommendations resulted in price increases for all undergraduate (Bachelor of Science (BS) and Professional Year programs) and postgraduate programs. The BS examination cost is now Rs. 5,000, and the joint market sheet charge is Rs. 3,000.

Additional expenses include a Rs. 32,000 transportation fee and a Rs. 14,500 development fee. A revised hostel security deposit of Rs. 25,000 and a hostel charge of Rs. 40,000 are among the dormitory-related expenses.

Additionally, students who have a gap in any examination must pay Rs. 10,000. Students who withdraw from Dow University must pay a one-year tuition charge. If a student withdraws from the professional program, they would be charged Rs. 300,000.
