Brahmastra director Ayan Mukherjee has confirmed that the current plan is for a sequel to Part 2 Dev and the film is slated to release in the month of December 2025, know the release date and cast.

In a scene from Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva, a second film titled Brahmastra: Part Two – Dev was teased.
Amitabh Bachchan lent his voice and some forces were rising like ‘Dev’, Ranbir Kapoor’s reincarnation of Shiv’s father in the film.’
For fans who followed the film’s controversial production, the confirmation of Part 2 was not a surprise as producer Karan Johar had revealed in 2017 how the surprise film is a trilogy.

Director Ayan Mukherjee has now confirmed to the media that his current plan is to release Brahmastra Part 2: Dev in December 2025.
“When we started the first part, the second part was scripted. It was always a story. The thread is ready. As we have already done a lot of work on part 2 and then part 1 and wrote and rewrote it because We had time when covid 19 happened.Part 2 has been in the works for several months and there is already a lot of material on Part 2. Mukherjee also said, “When we take a break from the first part, we’ll go on the floor. The core team comes together and we say, ‘OK we want to have part two of this and want it to be December 2025. to be released and we’re definitely aiming for that’. And then we’re on the floor.”
All this indicates that the initial plan was for the Brahmastra trilogy to end sometime between 2027 and 2029 with the third and final Brahmastra film. The good news is that Ranbir Kapoor has revealed that there are plans to shoot sequels 2 and 3 at the same time to reduce the time between the release of each part.
